J. Lohmann Gallery is thrilled to participate in The Salon Art + Design 2024.
We are delighted to present a collection of remarkable contemporary ceramic and glass works of art by the award-winning artists Erna Aaltonen, Sandra Davolio, Sara Dodd, Toni De Jesus, Heeeun Jun, Sangwoo Kim, Ahryun Lee, Barbara Nanning, Michèle Oberdieck, Jongjin Park, Turi Heisselberg Pedersen, Merete Rasmussen, and Tim Rawlinson.
This exhibition exudes a spirit of dynamism through the movement embodied in all of these works as well as a caliber of excellence in their singular designs. Each work entices the imagination of their viewers, encouraging them to engage in fantasy through form and each of their senses as they reconfigure recognizable objects and materials of mundane life thus transforming them into objects of imagined futures. With each artist’s boundary pushing craftsmanship, they crack open worlds of possibility with innovative techniques and a meticulous hand alone.
Highlights at The Salon include exceptional new wall-mounted porcelain works by emerging British artist Sara Dodd, delicately elegant flower shaped glass sculptures by Michèle Oberdieck, and wonderful new designs by internationally renowned ceramist Jongjin Park.
